Behind The Lens

Location

The shot is taken at Mani Mandir complex in Morbi, Gujarat.

Time

I remember this very perfectly beacuse this trip was my first trip from my college for a competion entry. The image was taken during the morning hours of around 10-11 am.

Lighting

The complex has many courtyards that fills the architecture with natural light at many areas. So i thought that capturing that sunlight into the photograph was important to know the surrounding architecture around the subject.

Equipment

This image was shot on my phone OnePlus 3T (A3003). without any additional lens or filter.

Inspiration

The complex was actually a heritage building built many years ago. So the cycle standing there reminded me of the old days when the bicycle was the only means of transportation for many of us.

Editing

Did just color correction and improved the contrast.

In my camera bag

I generally have my DSLR Canon Rebel T4i (Canon 650D) with only 18-135mm lens.

Feedback

Try to keep the camera near to your subject but dont go too close so that the surrounding can be identified
