Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at boatcove, just 900 meters from our home. We keep our rowboat there during summertime.

Time

The photo was taken during the blue hour.

Lighting

Just natural lighting is used in this photo.

Equipment

This was shot on a Sony A7R III and Sony 28mm lens.

Inspiration

I knew I'd get a splendid photo from that location. Lake is small and very beautiful. Blue hour is one of the best times to get best photo of the lake.

Editing

Only small amount of post-processing was needed, straighten the photo and little raw development.

In my camera bag

Normally I carry only Sony A7R III with Sony Zeiss 55mm lens. After that only imagination is your limit :)

Feedback

You need to look some lovely small lake and find good spot from the beach. Look at the trees, lilys etc. You can use Google to find sunrise or sunset time at your location. Blue hour starts just after sun is far enough below horizon. Time of year, location, pollution etc. have impact on blue hour so go out and test yourself.
