Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Chocolate Falls (Grand Falls) In Arizona.

Time

It was during sunset.

Lighting

The sun was actually below the ridge so it didn't leak into the photo, it was low enough to create even lighting as well as high enough to still have light.

Equipment

I used a canon 6d mk I with a 70-200mm 2.8 usm II on a tripod.

Inspiration

Thankfully it just rained, so the falls were raging. It's so beautiful because you can walk right up to it, its untouched and theres hardly anyone there we were the only ones there at the time actually. I wanted to capture the grandeur and the rage and the beauty of the falls. I wanted to show the adventure and enjoyment of it all.

Editing

I did minor adjustments, to bring out the colors and the sharpness.

In my camera bag

I was filming with my c100 and taking photos with my 6d! I also had my mavic pro with me at the time as well!

Feedback

There are many ways to capture moving water, long exposures are fun, but this was with a higher shutter speed to get more of the details.
