This is a female Curved Billed Thrashed building her nest in a Cholla Cactus a few feet away. Thrashers build their nests in the dreaded "Jumping Cholla", a very lethal cactus, it protects the nest from predators. She eventually laid three blue eggs. The female and male took turns tending to the eggs. They hatched and fledged. Very exciting.
