This photo was taken at the town of Montefortino in the Province of Fermo, located in the Italian region of Marche. The snow-capped mountains in the background are part of the Monti Sibillini National Park.Time
We had been driving and stopping at the many small villages in the area and had gone up a small road that ran behind a house that had a fire going. This is the building in the foreground. The shot was taken at 11.30am.Lighting

I loved the autumn tonings of the trees, the rustic roof of the house with smoke coming from the chimney, and of course the snow-capped mountains set against the azure sky.Editing

This area of Italy is stunning and doesn't get as many visitors as other areas. There are so many historic hilltop villages to explore by car.
