It's an Austin-Healey Sprite Mark 1, aka the "Bugeye Sprite". It was made from 1958 to 1961. I learned to drive a stick shift on a 1960 Bugeye that I owned as a teenager in the mid- to late-60s. It was extremely simple and relatively easy to repair, which was fortunate because, like most British sports cars, it broke a lot. It had an 848cc engine and coule be beaten by a VW Beatle in a drag race! But it was lightweight and could corner like nobody's business. I could go on and on with war stories, but you get the point. Absolutely wonderful photo. Thank you for bringing back some memories.
