This photo was taken in Lefkada town, Greece.Time
As you can see from the shadows, it was about noon. Not quite ideal light conditions for taking pictures. My wife and I were on a vacation spending mornings and afternoons on a beach. So, what's left for taking pictures - high noon, but nevertheless, i managed to take some nice pictures.Lighting

Using boat as a frame, but in reverse manner - color and detail in frame are more important than the boat, which is blurred.Editing
I always shoot RAW. That gives me room for post processing the way I want. For this shot - nothing unusual, a bit more blur to the already blurred background and a bit of detail and micro contrast to the boat.In my camera bag

Better camera don't make us better photographers. Be creative, find your angle, use DOF creatively, tell a story with your picture.
