I ve captured this old couple , admiring the beauty of Rome , while a statue seemed quite staring at it , everything was like a texture from a scene , perfectly composed .

Location
I ve taken this photo at the Gianicolo terrace in Rome , a good beautiful place where you can see a large panoramic view of the town with a nice perspectiveTime
It was on afternoon , I most prefer afternoon for shadows and better light conditionsLighting
I 've captured this scene from a bush to make some sort of atmosphere , and to focus on the two subjects . The importance of shoot from a shadow place makes even deep the whole scene .Equipment
Equipment used was a compact Leica D lux 7 , shooting in monochromatic , which is a real plus .Inspiration
I was inspired a lot by my favorite photographer Mr Erwitt , because as you see the couple is staring the beautiful panorama , and a statue on their right seems staring also the couple . Moreover the perspective of the photos seem as someone too is watching from another place , maybe another statue who knows . If you see the two statues seem been part too as everybody as spectators staring the eternal city .Editing
Normally when i'm on monochrome profile shooting , there is not so much post production appart from some contrast and lights and this is why like so much using it especially for street and urban photography .In my camera bag
Leica d lux 7 is always in my bag for street photography . Other cameras as my 3 Nikons are more for professional works .Feedback
A good advice would be , watching all around you and try to connect more subject in one scene . Photography is that Art that take different elements and connected together .
