It was about noon on a spring day.Lighting
I loved how the light came in through the window to light up the tools on the wall. The tools were well used and well displayed and I was struck by how the light hit the the basins of the shovels..Equipment
Nikon D810.Inspiration
The sugar house was full of smells, wood, coffee, sap, syrup. It was gorgeous day with my daughter in their sugarhouse and while they worked on the syrup boiler I looked around for shots with my camera. It was pretty steamy in the sugar house. which added to the photo, hazing the light from the window.. And as always I looked for natural light.Editing
I use NIK collection to process. Generally I increase the contrast.In my camera bag

Look for textures as well as lighting. The way light crosses a texture is magic.
