This snake inhabits the forest at an altitude of up to 880m above sea level. Active at night, especially found in trees up to 15m above the ground. Prey on frogs, mice, lizards and lizards.
The upper body of this snake is usually bright green, sometimes olive or blue, with dark punctate. Red-tipped tail. The lower part of the body is green-yellowish, white-green or light blue. Eyes are brown or red. This snake gives birth to 11-17 young individuals, measuring 14-19cm.
