This photo was taken behind my home along the Missouri River in South Dakota.Time
It was around 7pm when my cousin came down to do a little fishing.Lighting
I guess it was just good timing, there wasn't a lot of thought put into this photo. I didn't really notice how good the light was until I went to edit later that day.Equipment
This was actually taken on an android phone. I have been through many phones so I don't know which one it was.Inspiration
I was just sitting down talking to him when I noticed the clouds and beautiful colors. I decided to get a quick snap for a memory, but it turned out better than expected.Editing
I had a free editing app on my phone that I used for this, I just slid the the bars around until I found what I liked. I do not consider myself a photographer I just like taking pictures and share the ones I am proud of.In my camera bag
Today I use a Sony DSC-H200 that I found at a pawnshop. I have recently been looking for an upgrade with actual equipment to capture better shots.Feedback
I'm sure most of you already know what you're doing. I guess all I can say is, even quick unthoughtful captures can turn out lovely.
