Location
The photo was taken at Memorial Gardens in Downtown Concord, NC.Time
A coworker and I walked to the Memorial Gardens in March during our lunch hour. It was a pretty spring day.Lighting
The natural light was perfect that day.Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D810. The lens I used was a 24 - 70 Tamron lens.Inspiration
There were so many pretty flowers that day that were blooming but this one was a favorite. With the jagged top and the pretty pink it just made it beautiful.Editing
I really didn't do a lot of post editing on the photo. I did use photoshop. I edited the RAW file by sharpening the colors just a little. Then saved it to JPEGIn my camera bag
I generally carry my Nikon D810. Two different lenses. A 24-70 Tamron Lens and a 70 - 200 Tamron lens. Several memory cards and back up batteries. When I shoot for clients I carry an extra camera which is a D7100.Feedback
Always be patient. Shoot several different views of an image and always remember to include the rule of thirds in at least one of your photos.
