This image was taken last January from a river in Canmore, just a few blocks from where we stayed. We had some great moments from our trip in the Canadian Rockies. The cold weather that week didn't hold us back from exploring the beautiful places like this. My initial plan for this shot was a vertical shot but the scene I want to include in my composition was too big and I couldn't get this interesting ice cracks into the frame. So I decided to take two horizontal shots (one for the mountain and another shot for the foreground) taken on the same day and stitched them in post-processing. In the end, I was happy with the result.
