A visit to the Highland Wildlife Park, Kingussie.

Driving up the coast near Fraserburgh and I spotted this scene. 2005 the Sovereign grounded near the Cairnbulg Beacon and has lain there since.

Behind The Lens

Location

I was on a wedding anniversary break to Ullapool in the north of Scotland. The waterfront looks towards the Summer Isles.

Time

We arrived at 20:30 and the sunset was at 20:45 but I hadn't checked that and was caught unaware

Lighting

The lighting took care of itself

Equipment

This was using the only camera to hand....a Samsung S7 handheld

Inspiration

It isn't often I see the sun sinking into an island

Editing

This was cropped and nothing else, all processing was done in the phone

In my camera bag

I carried a Sony A200 and a few lenses but that was in the hotel room.
