Location
This photo was taken at home on our family farm, a perfect view from my own porch!Time
I am a sucker for the “golden hour” we usually experience every day as the sun goes down. However, this majestic scene was a direct follow up and so worth the wait. As the sun sank, the colors flooded the sky.Lighting
The best thing about this image is that it was natures lighting and not my own. Some photos just cannot be manipulated. I captured this image simply because I was in awe and needed the reminder that even ‘endings’ can be beautiful.Equipment
I used a Sony DSLR-A390 to capture this image.Inspiration
It was an unplanned capture which can be the most incredible.Editing
No I didn’t.In my camera bag
I always have my Sony DSLR-A390 camera, 16-85 mm lens. I also love my GoPro which is more for footage, but the wide lens can capture awesome images.Feedback
Sunsets (and sunrises) are all unique, not one is similar to another which makes them so special. Be aware of your exposure though, natural light can be very overpowering on your camera lens and take away from the colors of the image.
