When I was shooting this series, I was sure that they would be B&W images (I trust one or two will be once processed). I didnt expect or 'see' any colour in this whilst shooting. Somehow when I started processing it, colour and creativity kicked in and here we are. That doesn't happen often, but it's a bit fun when it does.
I like the ethereal and ghostly seagulls, i think they make the story far more interesting.
