Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Belgium

Time

It was early in the morning with the sunrise.

Lighting

The sunrise was magnificent, so I could take this picture in most beautiful situation.

Equipment

This shot was taken with Nikon D500 - SIGMA 150MM F/2.8 - tripod

Inspiration

Capturing the beauty of nature gives a lot of satisfaction. Macro gives an extra touch because every little detail is emphasized.

Editing

No I didn't do anything about this picture.

In my camera bag

It depends on what I am going to photograph but for evening photography, landscape and architecture I always have the Sigma 17-50 mm f/2.8 and tripod with me. In addition, I also have a remotecontrol and timer with me so I can easily shoot in "bulk". For macro I use normally the Tamron 90mm F2.8 DI Macro, because it's enough for butterflies and dragonflies.

Feedback

Weather is a very important element for photographing macro. If it is too cold or too hot, it's more difficult to find butterflies or dragonflies. If there is a lot of wind the problem is that you have no sharp images
