Location
The photo was taken in Chelyabinsk, Russia. This is city were I was studding in university, so I have a lot of friends there. One day, when I was in Chelyabinsk, I offered to take a walk and take some photos to friend of mine. When we was walking, we found that place, which on the photo and I took that picture.Time
I don’t remember, it was afternoon, between 12 and 16 o'clock.Lighting
For me shooting with sunlight every time a problem. Especially if I don't have extra flashes or sun diffuser. It's hard to control light. Also for models it hard to work, because the sun's in her eyes. So at that day was hard sun light, but I found the desired angle and suggested to the model to close her eyes, and then I got this photo.Equipment
This was shot on Nikon D800, with 35 mm f/2.0 nikorr lens. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
This photo was inspired by the model and her tattoos. We've known her for a long time and I wanted to take pictures of her. Everything went well that day. The weather was good, the sun, clear sky and a stylish model. All this together became the cause of the final inspiration.Editing
Yes, I processed this photo. I always adjust my photos in photoshop or nitrome. This photo I corrected for color and light in the Lightroom, added contrast, added a little saturation, corrected the colors, and then I retouched the skin, but only a little. In my camera bag
First of all, I always take my camera with me, the Nikon d800. All my photos made with D800. And of course with the camera I take 2 lenses: 85mm f / 1.8 nikkor and 35mm f / 2.0 nikkor. Also I have a small nikkor sb-910 flash. For large-scale shooting, I rent all the other equipment.Feedback
Experiment more, look for new angles, and try to make the image high-quality. Don't be afraid to cover your knees and go lower than the model. Correctly combine the colors in the photo. And build the composition the way you want.
