I was way to excited to get out this past weekend with the possibility of clear skies and an arching Milky Way that I drove 6 hours and set up camp at Seminole Canyon State Natural area. After waking up at 2:45am I looked out of the tent to clouds but they were clearing with an earlier cold front, so I hiked down to the edge of Seminole Canyon and started shooting. After 2 hours and hiking the rim, I came across this Solo tree hanging on to the edge and I was amazed to capture this arching milky way during blue hour and some light pollution from the city of Ciudad Acuna just over the U.S. border. I'm please to have been able to have a successful weekend. Sorry Pano's aren't the best on Facebook but hope you enjoy!
