Behind The Lens

Location

Green Cay Nature center in Boynton Beach Florida

Time

Probably like 2 or 3 in the afternoon Maybe I’m not quite sure it was a year or so ago i was only in Florida for a day so I bounced around to all my old spots

Lighting

Not really i mean its clearly direct sunlight with hard shadows It was all the suns doing on this occasion

Equipment

As for equipment This is before i upgraded to a full frame so i think i shot this with a Nikon D90 with a 18-200mm Sigma

Inspiration

“If its not a good picture you probably weren’t close enough “ Robert Capa I was able to get close i took advantage of the opportunity

Editing

I’m a little more knowledgeable about post processing now then i was then to be honest i probably did the most basic edits bringing up shadows, down highlights ,increase contrast and oh did i fancy that clarity slider.

In my camera bag

Back when I took this it was 2 d90 DX Nikons with battery packs, tripod, mini tripod and a polarizing filter Now i carry a D750 FX Nikon 24-70mm, Neewer on camera flash, mavic mini, drone filters, camera filters (polarizer and ND 1000”10 stops”) ,remote shutter release ,extra batteries, and a 3 legged thing tripod

Feedback

Bring a long lens and go to a nature center or national park there’s also bird sanctuaries good luck
