These guys remind me of fire crackers as they explode and sparkle beautifully all over the night sky. There are over 50 cactus species in our neighborhood of the Sonoran Desert, possibly more. Marvelous, that something otherwise thought to be so obviate and averting can be so alluring and diverse, isn't it!?
