Location
This photo was taken in my basement using one studio light. I was doing a photo challenge in which we use different lighting/shadows on people and objects. I thought I would use my husbands bass and light just enough to highlight the edges.Time
It was probably around mid afternoon so I went into the basement where it was darker to control the lights better.Lighting
Have fun and patience when using studio lights!!Equipment
I used my Nikon D750, 24-120mm lens, tripod, and a Westcott light.Inspiration
I was doing the Dogwood photo challenge and a few of those weeks had us using studio lights to use on people and on objects.Editing
I just darkened the black areas a bit more, and brought up the highlights a bit in photoshop. In my camera bag
I have my Nikon D750 with my kit lens, a nikkor 24-120 f4 lens, with my sigma 14-24 f 2.8mm art, my favourite since I’m more a landscape shooter and last but not least a 70-200 f2.8 beast!! I also have a lens ball that I occasionally use. It’s not a lot, but it’s good for me!!Feedback
With these strange time at the moment, use whatever lighting rig you have, go into a dark area or at night and play. Use different objects, people and highlight different areas, shadow different areas and enjoy what you get!
