Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at my home standing on my deck looking out into my yard, I saw this blue Jay in a small tree in my yard so I put my camera up and was hoping it would come my way and sure enough it did and I got this shot!

Time

I'm not really sure time of day but it was most likely early afternoon

Lighting

The lighting was perfect that day, nice and sunny

Equipment

I use Canon 80D, Sigma 150-600mm contemporary, no flash and I hand hold all my shots!!

Inspiration

I love blue hays but they are hard to get a good photo of so when I saw this one I waited patiently for it to fly my way

Editing

I use light room for post processing, I probably brought up shadows, down on highlights, dehaze, down on noise, contrast, clarity, sharpness

Canon 80D, sigma 150-600mm, sigma 17-50mm, Canon 24mm, Canon 50mm
