Lake Barrington is an artificial lake in northern Tasmania, 40 km south of Devonport. It is 20 km long! Lake Barrington is the site of a world-standard rowing course. It hosted the 1990 World Rowing Championships and hosts the annual Tasmanian schools Head of the River rowing regatta and has hosted several Australian Rowing Championships. I captured this on a very cold morning, -4oC, with the low lying fog, frost & beautiful reflections, it is a place of ambiance!
