Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in Saint Paul, La Reunion. I wanted to take advantage of the New Year's Eve fireworks to get the photo interesting.

Time

The photo was taken at sunset, and can include the wakes of the cars next to the city lights and the blue sky.

Lighting

This is a photo taken outside in natural light. Blue hour, city lights to contrast the colors of the road.

Equipment

This picture has been taken with a Nikon D5300, a Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 and a Rollei Allrounder tripod and a 10-step ND filter.

Inspiration

I've been thinking about this picture for a long time when I saw that bridge over a big straight line. Perfect for a long exposure. In such a small island it is not easy to find places like that and the few that there are you have to take advantage of them.

Editing

This photo has a lot of processing. From localized desaturation to zone lighting. Color modification, Nik Collection and Dodge and Burning filters! Todo el procesado esta realizado en Photoshop ayudado de mascaras de luminosidad.

In my camera bag

In my backpack I usually carry my Nikon D5300, Tokina 11-16, Nikkor 18-55, 55-200, 35mm 1.8, Rollei Allrounder, ND filters, spare batteries.

Feedback

My advice above all is to plan the photo very well, study the location, go ahead, and finally take pictures without fear of filling out the card to make sure you bring as much light as possible.
