This shot was taken at Mimihaha Walk in Fox Glacier town, New Zealand

Time

I went this place in the morning to have a small walk in this park, unforgettable sight at the end of the walk near a huge tree trunk.

Lighting

What attracted me to take this shot was the force and atmosphere, the sunlight from the dense forest at the top enhances the gloomy atmosphere.

Inspiration

When entered this amazing park, the whole forest was already clothed in green which really inspired me. When go after dark to see that glow worms which are pretty spectacular when you get a chance to see them.

Editing

Yes, minor adjustment in Photoshop to enhance the sunrays and boots up the vivid color of the green. Micro tune in light and shadow to give more contrast of the whole image.

2 cameras: Sony A7R3 and Fujifilm with 3-4 lens (14mm, 23mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm)

Feedback

Good lighting and composition is the key to capture this type of forest scene. Be patient and scout around to spot good object as well as perspective for composition. Not to use super wide angle lens to capture the scene, it will create a mess in your picture. Ideally is 24-70mm lens.
