Behind The Lens

Location

I went to explore Uruguay, to capture all the beauty I could.Suddenly, driving around Punta Del Este, I saw some people parking in a spot. I did the same, noticing that the crowd was watching this spectacular sunset. It was one of those moments that nature give you as a great gift.

Time

The photo was taken around 6:45 pm. After I saw that sunset, I came back for 3 days at the same time and every day Nature was giving it's best with those kind of Sunsets.

Lighting

The Lighting was just natural. As good as it gets.

Equipment

I used A canon 5DSr. ISO 100 2.8 and 250 speed No other equipment involved

Inspiration

I went to explore Uruguay, to capture all the beauty I could. Suddenly, driving around Punta Del Este, I saw some people parking in a spot. I did the same, noticing that the crowd was watching this spectacular sunset. It was one of those moments where I'm so grateful to have my camera with me :)

Editing

I just Used Lightroom to do minor adjustments. When you have a scene like this, perfect in lightning and beauty, There's not much to do to it

In my camera bag

In my pack, I always carry my Tokina 16 to 35mm 2.8 since mostly I do landscapes. So I want to capture the most I can. Also I have my Canon 70-200 /2.8 In case I want a closer shot. I do have a traveller tripod and a set of ND filters to take long exposures, in case Im close to the sea, a waterfall or a river. An of course... a bunch of memory cards!

Feedback

My advice would be about timing. To take an image like this, the timing is crucial. Only at certain hour you will have the perfect lighting conditions to take an image like this. Be a sunset or a sunrise hunter! You will get the best images at that time. :)
