Another hike up the Butte. The trail was very slick. Especially the up hill at the start. I would encourage people to use spikes or at least something that gives extra traction. As I didn't and was for the most part walking up only to slide back down;) Though I did go up in a worn out pair of steel toe boots.
Which kinda actually helped us go down as I used the slickness to slide almost all the way down. At some parts I gained a lot of speed.
We started this hike around 2pm, and then only came across one another group of people when we reached the bottom.
Prime enjoyed all the snow as he was constantly diving in it. He LOVES the snow!
