Taken in my studio - I have a very versatile studio witch can be changed in minute to a new "look"Time
Sometime in the afternoon.. in studio time of day does not really mattersLighting
I tried to keep the lighting as simple as possible for this shot to create an arty yet simple lookEquipment
Canon 5Ds was used for this shot with70-200 mm f2.8 @ f8, 1/160, ISO100 Elinchrom FX400 flsh heads with 1.2 m octobox and 1.2 m stripboxInspiration
I wanted to get the diversity from cabaret and ballet as the model does both and is also a pole dancer - you will see in the legs that there are loads of definitionEditing
A little dodge and burn and desaturation was doneIn my camera bag
2 - 3 cameras (normally Canon or Fujifilm) Pocket wizards Batteries Cloth 50 mm f1.8 85 mm f1.8 70-200 m f2.8 100 mm macro f2.8 35 mm f1.4 Tape Pegs Something sweet like gum Pen & paperFeedback
Understand what you want to do and tell the model what you are looking for. Keep the model calm and comfortable - I think that is the most important in any shoot. The model must trust you and be comfortable with the surroundings and idea what you want to achieve. I normally find out what are their favorite music / musician and play their music that they are used to!
