When you enter the ice tunnel, you will see the gorgeous design of the icicles above. The design was created by harvesting the icicles in a separate area, and then re-freezing them into the ceiling in the Ice Castle. Indeed, the designers did a great job with the placement of the icicles! The sunlight was dispersed throughout the thousands of icicles, which resulted in scattered yet dazzling light rays.
