I love Macro. IPhones are tough - nice pics but they are hard to hold steady. The new iPhones have a higher res than some DSLRs (mine included) - Try an IPhone steady rest of some kind.......

I resist using any form of steady rest - I can react to images faster without one, but with Macros, sometimes it's nice to have the stability. Not sure what else you use, but I love your shots :)

Here's my simple old fashioned take: Flowers and other more-stationary objects-steady rest works well, but I don't wait for a shot to come to me (and my tripod). I just spontaneously take the shot.

This may sound funny, but flowers don't always stand still to have their picture taken. I never zoom in with my iPhone. I take a boatload of shots and then magnify.

I grew up with Film so I had limited shots. I had to be careful with each shot I took. This made me a better photographer. It forced me to be more selective with my shots, which holds true today :)
