It was early morning before the little owlets went back to bed, since they are nocturnal hunters. This is the little female after she ate a big fat Mopani worm that the male caught and brought to her after biting off the worms head. Taken 2018/12/12 09h14Lighting

I am a avid birder and bird photographer and it will always be my passion to capture our fantastic bird-life. I took a stunning set of images on this day of the interactions between the male feeding the female.Editing
There was no need for much post-processing here, mainly cropped the image to a good composition.In my camera bag
I take everything with me when I go to the bush. My Canon 100-400mii lens is always on my Canon 7Dmii, then for landscape and elephants I have my Canon 80D on hand with my Canon 15-85mm lens that gives me super clarity or 10-18mm wide angle. For insects and flowers I shoot my Canon EOS R with my Canon 50mm or 85mm to produce a dreamy bokeh. I always have my different tripods and off-camera flashes on hand, reflective boards and a lens ball to play with!Feedback
Patience, patience and more patience. For bird photography it helps to know your birds and their behavior patterns too. Shooting birds from a hide I would use my beanbag to stabilize, but out in the field it's handheld shooting since you need to follow the birds around.
