Location
This photo was taken during the winter in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.Time
I don't remember very well I think it was around noon that I took this photo.Lighting
I think I was lucky. The light was very nice and smooth.Equipment
This was shot with Panasonic GH5 and Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm f/2.8-4.Inspiration
There is a very sad story of the statue in the background. That sculpture represents one of the most horrific scenes of the Srebrenica genocide against innocents population. This is the scene when Ramo calls his son Nermin to surrender to the soldiers, as allegedly they said that they would do not harm to them. An exhumation team found Ramo and his son Nermin in a mass grave near Srebrenica in 2008. So when I saw this lady walking I set up the frame and waited for her to pass and take the photo. She was walking with her head down and the sculpture has its head up, I found a very strong symbolism in this.Editing
Yes, I increased the levels of contrast, and clarity. In my camera bag
I only carry with me one camera, the Panasonic GH5 or Fujifilm X20.Feedback
I would to capture the moments that you are more interested and attached to it.
