Thanks so much, Doug. Actually I removed a huge utility pole to the left of the fire hydrant which is why the window above the hydrant has that "artisanal" look....

I was airbnb'ing in a local largely Latino neighborhood, in the process of gentrification, but still providing basic services to the citizen/immigrant residents. I guess the name was nothing more than something larger than what the laundromat really is/was and closed because some big developer bought the block, hélas--and that is what is happening in Wynwood/Miami at the moment.

Sad to see stories like this. We had an old Chinese laundry here that went in the same direction. This was such a great reminder for me.
