This photo was taken apart of my photography visual elements coursework. It was inspired by the street photographer Lee Jeffries who took dark, sharp textured images of homeless people. Instead of taking images of peoples faces I decided to focus on the hands, which Lee Jeffries has also taken of but not many. In my images my main goal was to capture the texture as much as possible, to make it pop out of the image and stand out and in my opinion i feel like i was able to do that.
