Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at United States Military Academy West Point, New York Located off The Hudson.

Time

The photo was taken midday during West Point Class of 2022 Acceptance Day.

Lighting

Lighting in this photo I wanted the uniform to stand out as well as the cadet more than the background. The Gold on the Hat and the Crest showing the pride of each cadet that represents this uniform.

Equipment

Camera Used: Canon EOS Rebel T6i Camera Settings: Aperture f/5?ISO 100?Shutter 1/640?Focal Length 79/1

Inspiration

This photo is of one of my best friends who has achieved so much in his Military career and I believe will go much further in years to come!

Editing

I used Lightroom to help bring some color back it was quite dark and cloudy in the original photo.

In my camera bag

I have my T6i Canon with a 50mm lens, 18-55mm lens, 55-250mm lens. I also have a tripod with me and some special surprises.

Feedback

My advice to get a photo like this is to be bold and try new things most of my best work happens by just living in the moment.
