Type 42 destroyer HMS Edinburgh, nick named "The Fortress Of The Sea" entering Portsmouth Harbour on the morning of March 28th 2013. Of the fourteen ships of her class built for the Royal Navy, Edinburgh was one of four 'stretched' type 42s, the other ten being shorter in length and beam, and was the only one fitted with a raised bulwark or 'garden wall' on her forecastle.
