Migrating ducks from Serbia are a common view in Assam, India during the Winters. The water in the rivers and the lakes recedes and these water bodies become heaven for the ducks. This image was recently captured at the 'Maguri Beel' in Tinsukia district in Assam on a morning visit to the Dibru River. "It is sad to see the birds leave. Time is almost due", said the boatman on whose paddled boat we travelled.
