The homeowner of this wagon decorates it for each season. Every year at Christmas time I admire it as I drive by. It triggers in me memories of a childhood that was and that I wish it was. Having grown up in the 60's, picket fences and wooden wagons were making way for fast cars and modern technology. Remnants of the past dotted our neighbourhood, but more importantly, stories of my mother's childhood fuelled my imagination and appreciation of these things. This image reminds me of my mother.
