It was one calm winter afternoon with no wind and clouds. Around 3 p.m. in the beginning of January.Lighting
It was a beautiful sunny winter day without any clouds in the sky. Not the perfrect photographic conditions, but once the sun got down towards the horizon, beautiful shadows started to appear and the yellow light cast made the picture quite appealing.Equipment
This was shot with Sony A7RII and Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS without using filters or any additional equipment.Inspiration
For some time I was determined to start making beautiful landscape pictures during the day, without waiting for the Golden hour or any perfect lightning conditions. I was just walking around the beautiful forest with my family searching for something worth capturing.Editing
In general, I do a lot of post-processing of my landscape photos. Not this time. This picture was well-balanced from the moment I took it and it required just a few slight tweaks of the contrast and the colors - a bit contrast to the shadows and saturation of the house and the blue sky.In my camera bag
Normally, I have my drone and my mirrorless body with 3-4 lenses in my bag. Whenever your goal is to capture something beautiful without a perfect "golden" light, try to be more creative and shoot all over the place. Sometimes things on caught on camera look better than in reality. Shoot and do not delete before you get home. Select your photos on a PC, not on the small camera screen.
