I am still fairly new to the technical aspects about photography. But one thing I have come to learn is shoot what you like and in this picture I just love how the light and colors reflected on the water receding back to the ocean.Equipment

Sunsets are a great back drop to any kind of photo . Even when it is the main focus. That and I love how the light reflects off the water.Editing
I try to do little post editing as possible. I just added a little bit of sharpness, slight change of the contrast, and increased the brightness a touch.In my camera bag

Timing is everything. Sunsets don't last forever and neither do perfect conditions. Take advantage by having in direct sunlight in your photo or catch that moment where the clouds cover is just right.
