Street portraits.

These are all portraits of strangers taken all over singapore. It can be daunting at first, having a lot rejections from people which can make one even more nervous. But in time, I have learned to not to care much about being rejected, and got used to talking to strangers,telling them who I am and asking them for a portrait. Still, there are rejections every now and the, but thats part of it. The thing is, I have been so in love with taking strangers portraits, something about their eyes and the stories behind them that one does not know. But I do understand that each one of us has a story behind our walls, behind our smiles, behind the wrinkles in our eyes. And for some reason, it gives me comfort knowing that whatever each of us are going thru, that no matter how life is probably fucking us from morning, til night, that whatever circumstance we find ourselves right now, it will eventually end soon. It cant rain forever. eventually, the sun will come out, eventually life will get tired of fucking us and give us a kiss on the lips.
Stories, hardships, we all have them. they're hiding behind each smile, behind our eyes. I gues this is what makes me love street portraits.
