Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in downtown Kansas City, MO during a Senior Photo Session.

Time

I love to shoot at the golden hour because the lighting is so amazing!

Lighting

Golden hour is my favorite time to shoot, you can get amazing backlighting and a beautiful glow.

Equipment

I shoot with a Nikon D7100 and my favorite lenses are 50mm and 85mm.

Inspiration

I love to capture bokeh in my images and the street has so much depth I wanted to use it to my advantage.

Editing

I generally edit in photoshop so that I can make my colors and contrast pop.

In my camera bag

I always try to carry a flash, a reflector, extra batteries, and memory cards. My favorite lenses are my 50mm and my 85mm.

Feedback

I try to make sure that my subject isn't blocked and is centered while I am directly in front of the subject to create the bokeh feel in this photo.
