I took this photo while I was ice skating with friends during Christmas. In front of me was a father teaching his son how to skate, he holds his hand and skate forward, making sure that the little boy doesn't fall, but also teaching him a lesson: life is like skating, the only way to keep balance is to keep going. I think this photo really captured the essence of fatherhood: to protect and guide.
