This amazing pier shot was taken in northern California in June of 2018. I was driving down highway 1 enjoying the California atmosphere and quickly glanced and saw this amazing pier down the cliff, I quickly found the closest parking lot and headed down the stairs to the pier. When I got down to the beach the spirit was amazing people were playing volleyball, walking, surfing, a classic California day. I got to the pier and could hear the boards creaking as the sounds of the rushing water hit the pillars and surrounding me as I took the shot. That's why I love doing this, you literally are covered by the spirit and essence of a place in the world.
