Part of a collection of work I am currently putting together. This shot is taken in an abandoned lead mine. The shot is taken standing on top of a hill looking down the valley into the mine site, I didn’t want a panorama but rather a specific almost compressed composition, so elected to use the telephoto. I had to wait for the specific conditions I wanted, rain to make the old metal wet, fog to add some context to the shots & obviously it had to be cold to get the fog!!! Shot with Canon 6D & Sigma 100-400c. 213mm. 1-60th sec @ f6.3. iso200
