Location
It was taken at the National Botanical Garden of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I was taking photos at the Japanese Garden and this beautiful bird just posed for me. It was early in the morning.Time
It was about 10:30 a.m.of a overcast day. I had my tripod but there was not time to lose so I just balanced my body against a tree near by. I had time to shoot about 10 pictures.Lighting
Was an overcast day so the light was well balanced with no hard shadows nor high lights, Soft contrast.Equipment
I had my Sony Alpha A500,hand held, no flash and my best lens, a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 @ 200mm.Inspiration
I was looking for it and had come many times to this place but never had a chance like that day. I love animals and this one is so ellegant and beautiful that I just needed to photograph.Editing

I normally carry my Sony A500, Sigma 70-300mm macro DG, Sony 50mm f/1.8, Minolta 100mm macro f/2.8, Minolta 24-85mm, Tamron 11-18mm and Vivitar 100-400mm lenses. Also my tripod and Sony flash.Feedback
You need to be very patience and need to study thr animal behavior. Respect the enviroment. Be very quiet and never smoke or make loud sound.
