I was headed to Blackwater wildlife refuge in Maryland when I spotted this blue standing in the rain on this box. The background was full of branches so I ran around like a crazy person trying to get an background that wasn't so obstructed. I was glad this blue had no other plans but to pose for me.

This is typical behavior one eagle gets a fish and others try to take it. Taken at a dam in the winter.

There are about 200 eagles in this area and the shad fish are slowly dying. The eagles are having a feeding frenzy.
