The life of arctic fox in Iceland is very tough especially in winter season when they have to deal with extreme weather conditions where little food available. On a daily basis during low tide this fox was coming down from the mountains to the shore to search for the food. When the winter storm hit at its worst the Arctic fox lay down in a sheltered place and let itself be covered by snow.
