This was taken mid day during a very rainy day. It took me around 2hrs of hiking just to get to this spot.Lighting
Given that the rain was pouring very hard, it was a challenge to get a proper exposure. Everything was overcast at first and the fog and mist was so thick but I waited for half an hour and then it started to reveal parts of the mountain and the waterfall. I guess the waiting paid off.Equipment
I used a Fujifilm XT-2 for this shot. Good thing it was weather sealed.Inspiration
I like taking photos of places that are away from the crowd. Going to places where I most people can’t and sharing it to the world makes it rewarding.Editing
Yes! I applied some dehazing as the original image was filled with haze and fog. I also made sure to highlight the main subject of the image to emphasize the gushing waterfall.In my camera bag
